Job Description
For one of our clients, a world leader within Private Equity and Credit we are assisting the recruitment of a newly created position of Oversight Officer based in Luxembourg.
Our client offers a dynamic and entrepreneurial working environment. This is a newly created position and will be responsible for overseeing all outsourced activities of the AIFM, which includes Fund Administration, Portfolio Management, Marketing /Distribution, Finance and IT.
This position suites a person that has at least 3 years’ experience within either an External Audit position or an Oversight officer in an AIFM Manco. The role offers a long-term perspective with the opportunity to grow within the group.

Your Responsibilities
The Oversight Officer will be reporting directly to the Conducting Officer of the Management Company.
You will work closely together with senior management on overseeing the outsourced activities.
Moreover, you will:
- Review the regulatory reporting of the AIFM
- Stay up to date with new regulations
- Implement an oversight plan
- Keep close contact with the fund administrators of the group
- Perform initial, periodic and ongoing due diligence of the delegates
- Oversee the audit reports
- Onboarding of new funds
Your profile
- You have at least 3 + years’ experience within either an External Audit position or an Oversight officer in an AIFM Management Company.
- Knowledge of AIFMD and oversight of delegates framework
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- You are a self-starter with a hands-on entrepreneurial mind-set
- You are fluent in English both written and spoken. Any other European language would be considered a benefit.
- You are a natural team player and have the ability to communicate at all levels in /outside the organisation
- You are looking to work in an entrepreneurial and growing environment
