Operations Manager - Holiday Homes [United Arab Emirates]


 

We are looking for an experienced Holiday Homes Operation Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Holiday Home Company as well as provide strategic direction.

Operation Manager is responsible for all aspects of operations, to manage day-to-day operations, liaising between housekeeping, maintenance and reception to ensure procedures run smoothly and jobs are completed in a timely and satisfactory manner prior to guest arrival.

You will be reporting to the CEO. Experience: 3 + Years in Hospitality Management and minimum 2 years UAE experience in Holiday Homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise work at all levels guest relations, admin, property onboarding, property owner relation and set clear objectives.
  • Plan activities and allocate responsibilities to achieve the most efficient operating model.
  • Develop and implement an intuitive and efficient marketing strategy to promote the hotel's services.
  • Dealing with DTCM and other government bodies to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Training and Development - Implement and maintain a staff training, to equip all members of the team to carry out their roles to the required standard.
  • Handling complaints, and oversee the service recovery procedures.
  • Collaborate with external parties such as suppliers, travel agencies, event/conference planners etc.
  • Manage on-going profitability of the properties ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded.
  • Ensure all decisions are made in the best interest of the company.
  • Deliver budget goals and set other short- and long-term strategic goals for the properties.
  • Property Sign-off - to organise and supervise the team in preparing the properties, ensuring they have the equipment to carry out the job, and that the properties have been prepared to the required high-quality standard.
  • Closely monitor the business reports on a daily basis and take decisions accordingly.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in Property Management System
  • Previous performance evaluation experience
  • Proven experience in a managerial role
  • Strong decision-making capabilities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration
  • Ability to motivate and lead people, and hold employees accountable
  • Knowledge of DTCM regulations and industry standards.
  • Fluent in English
  • Arabic or Russian language is a plus
  • UAE Drivers License (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: AED12,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
