GENERAL ACCOUNTANT (Can start ASAP)
We are looking for a reliable Accountant to supervise, monitor, and evaluate day-to-day accounting activities and manage tax and accounting compliances. The responsibilities of Head of Finance and Accounting includes establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting financial information.
We are seeking a candidate who can develop and maintain accounting principles, best practices, and systems for collecting, analyzing and reporting information. Must have a strong understanding of Philippine Financial Accounting Standards and Tax compliances. Candidate will also be responsible for managing the accounting team, helping the audit, ledger preparation, and supporting managers across teams with financial procedures.
Responsibilities
· Manage and oversee daily operations of the accounting department
· Process month and end year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledgers, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed assets activities, etc.
· Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
· Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles complies with accounting standards and tax compliances
· Coordinate and complete annual audits
· Provide recommendations
· Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
· Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
· Meet financial accounting/tax reporting deadlines and objectives
· Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to documents transactions
· Oversee budget reports, preparation of budgets, and analysis of budgets
· Document and interpret complicated financial information for managers and executive
· Advice on procedures and financial management as well as developing policies
· Oversee financial reports for stockholders, taxes, regulatory agencies, etc.
· Audit of Accounting and Finance department
Requirement
· Minimum 2 years of experience in Big Four accounting firms or large global public company (MNC), combination of both preferred
· Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
· Experience in similar capacity would be added advantage
· Proven knowledge of accounting principles practices, standards, laws, regulations and tax matters
· High attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to direct, supervise and meet expected deadlines
· Bachelor’s degree preferably in Accounting of Finance or equivalent
· Professional qualification such as CPA, CIMA, ACCA would be added advantage.

Pay: From Php35,000.00 per month
