A luxury 5 * Lodge Company within the Kruger Park seeks to employ an experienced, enthusiastic Game Lodge Manager to run and manage the day to day operation of two elite upmarket lodges. The ideal candidate will need to have at least 5 years experience within a luxury game lodges, as a Lodge Manager. The following criteria are to be met:
- NQF Level 4+ (Matric),
- Hospitality related qualification
- Minimum of FGASA Level 1 in order to assist with game drives
- Driver’s License with PDP
- At least 5 years management experience in similar role in 5* Luxury lodges
- Strong Food & Beverage knowledge
- Administration and financial controlling competence
- Able to work accurately under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Oversee the day to day operation reporting to the operations manager of the hotel group
- A confident, peoples person and be able to communicate effectivly with guests and staff alike
- Host all meals and welcome guests from Game Drives and walks
- Oversee the food and bev, kitchen and housekeeping departments directly with keeping an eye on front office
- Oversee all financial aspects of the lodge
- Work closely with the local community to ensure harmony in both ecologial issues but also to ensure that all
- Oversee and manage all stock takes and kitchen ordering to ensure good controls are adhered to
