Sales Operations Administrator - 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract [United Kingdom]


 

An opportunity has arisen to join the CCDC’s Sales Operations team to support the business administration processes. This is an excellent development opportunity to join a growing technology organisation and get first-hand experience of sales and customer support.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Triaging all incoming enquiries within the timelines specified by the business and take ownership for responses relating to the non-technical enquiries.
  • Issuing basic pricing and general information to potential users and upgrades to current users

  • Supporting all sales activities generating quotations and licence agreements.

Candidates must possess a confident working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel; familiarity with a business database would be an advantage. Good organisational and communications skills, a methodical approach to work and the ability to operate flexibly as part of a small team are essential.

The CCDC is an independent research organisation, partnered with the University of Cambridge. We compile the Cambridge Structural Database (CSD) and develop software applications in structural chemistry and molecular modelling. Our products are distributed worldwide to both academic and industrial user communities. Established in 1965, the CCDC employs around 115 staff.
