CREATIVE ARTIST & HOST
Pinot & Picasso Hunter Valley is expanding & we are looking for our next awesome team member to join us. We are looking for highly motivated & energetic creative hosting artist to join our team.
Responsibilities & Duties
The Hosting Artist is the face of the Pinot & Picasso brand. When wearing the Pinot & Picasso uniform you step into the shoes of the creative head of the class and have the opportunity to guide a room full of guests in creating a masterpiece, they will no doubt be proud of. As the Hosting Artist, your core responsibilities are:
● Welcoming guests, checking them into the session and making them feel at ease as they are taken to their seats.
● Provide step by step guidance of the chosen artwork, using the supplied instructions and tools
● Representing the Pinot & Picasso brand, living up to the ‘friendly, bubbly & creative’ brand positioning.
● Facilitate the overall enjoyment of guests during the session
● Providing one-on-one assistance to guests in creating their individual artwork
● Managing the atmosphere and experience of the class using music and crowd control measures
● Using social media platforms to showcase the Pinot & Picasso experience 1 Published by Date/version
● Ability to conduct the same experience outside the studio at a ‘Pop-Up Event’
● Ensuring the cleanliness of the studio before, during and after the session
● Following the pack up & down guidelines, and mandatory reporting processes (Completing a shift report on Deputy)
● Following all policies and procedures, including reasonable directions from the Manager and any COVID safety plans in place at the time of the session.
Note: there are no cash or payment facilities held at the premises, you are not responsible for sales - just the end experience.
Qualifications & Skills
A Pinot & Picasso Hosting Artist requires minimal qualifications, your focus on entertainment and facilitating our sessions is most important to the role.
The skills we require are:
● Excellent communication and customer service skills
● Energetic and creative personality
● Capable of running painting sessions independently
● Capable of teaching basic painting skills and step by step instructions to people of all ages and.
● Ability to work as a team, take on feedback and adapt to new environments
● Must be over the age of 18
● Experience with social media platforms

● Current drivers’ license
● Current Blue Card and police check
Job Type: Casual
Salary: $25.00 – $45.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
